Section 8 Company Registration – For Charitable and Non-Profit Purposes
A Section 8 Company is a type of legal entity formed for promoting social welfare, charity, education, art, culture, religion, environment, or any other not-for-profit objective. It is governed by the Companies Act, 2013, and registered with the Ministry of Corporate Affairs (MCA).
Unlike regular companies, a Section 8 Company does not distribute profits to its members or directors. Instead, the income is utilized solely to fulfill the company’s purpose.

- Apply for DSC & DIN – Digital signatures and director IDs for all directors
- Reserve Company Name – File SPICe+ Part A for name approval
- Apply for License under Section 8 – Submit necessary declarations and object clauses
- File Incorporation Documents – MOA, AOA, affidavits, declarations, etc.
- Receive Certificate of Incorporation & License from ROC and Central Government

For Office Address:
- Electricity/Water Bill (not older than 2 months)
- Rent agreement or ownership proof
